I’ve owned this printer / copier/ fax / scanner for a number of years, now and have had good luck with it. No break-downs of any sort. It just works. I’ve enjoyed the paper feeder for multiple page faxes; I don’t need to stand there and feed sheet after sheet. I can stack, start the fax, and walk away. Same for multiple page copies. I’d recommend it for low volume use. I don’t use the color photo printing feature, so can’t comment on color photo quality. I’d assume it’s not very good, however. I have a Canon i960 color photo printer right next to this HP for my color photos.

For over 20 years I exclusively purchased HP Printers for the office and home office until this printer I purchased for occasional home use. The software was horrible at all levels causing multiple conflicts with my new Dell laptop. The feeder consistently jammed and makes it impossible to send facsimiles or scan in any manner except page by page through the flat bed scanner. The ink runs out very quickly and is very expensive. I wouldn’t wish this machine on anyone and purposely destroyed it prior to placing it in the garbage. I would feel horrible if someone got this for free and actually thought that was a good deal. The problems with this machine were so great that I dealt with technical support on several occasions and since they couldn’t fix anything I started writing the board of directors. Eventually someone replied to me and in essence admitted they know the software is horrible. I will never purchase an HP again and I strongly recommend you avoid them as well.

I’ve had this printer for about a year now. At first I had it connected to my computer and the printing was okay, but once we set it up for wireless it has become very slow to print. Also, a few of the print options “disappeared” when we set it up for wireless.

However, my biggest complaint about it is that when I scan and print something on it the print comes out with a 3/4″ wide black band going down the side of the page. I have NEVER had a scanner do this before. It is really ugly and distracting.

Also, when printing out photos on glossy paper there is almost always a tiny line ticked vertically down the printouts. (I am assuming it is from the paper rollers that feed the paper) May not be noticable at first glance, but anyone looking at the the photo for more than a second or two is going to see it.

I’m truly wishing I had purchased another model!

What To Look For When Buying An All-In-One Printer Scanner Copier Fax

Most small business owners would get a headache at the mere mention of paperwork. One can’t really blame them, because up until very recently, the biggest hurdle for small and growing businesses was the heaps of paperwork which piled up each day in their small/home offices.

Having to print, scan, copy and fax tons of paper separately, each day would put a sizable dent in most wallets. Not to mention the huge loss of time which it would inevitably cause. Finally, after years of torment at the hands of lengthy paperwork, the small business owner has a reason to smile. That reason is the all-in-one printer scanner copier fax.

Choosing the right printer scanner copier fax is a task in itself. The different segments of users who exist for the multifunction device make it an even harder task to make a choice. The segment ranges right from the Individual home user to multiple users in large offices. Ascertain your projected usage and business needs before venturing out to get yourself a multifunction device.

To make faxing documents both convenient and affordable, ensure that the printer scanner copier fax has a minimum fax modem speed of 33 kbps. Just like your computer the multifunction device too will perform better with more memory. The standard provision of 8 MB memory is inadequate for frequent users. A multifunction device with a 16 MB expandable memory is ideal for small businesses which are growing fast.

Another standard provision in most multifunction devices is the printer and scanner resolution of 600 x 600 dpi (dots per inches). This resolution invariably leads to less than satisfactory images. Try to get your hands onto a all-in-one printer with a resolution of 1200 x 600dpi for extremely clear images. This resolution would never have you squinting at images trying to make something out in a blur of pixels.

Always opt for a multifunction device with a laser printer. Although, the inkjet printer is much cheaper, the documents printed by it aren’t waterproof and neither are they as durable as those which are laser printed. The inkjet printer also lags way behind the laser printer in terms of performance. More importantly, look for a printer with a minimum printing speed of between 22 and 30 pages per minute.

A valuable addition to the multifunction device is the automated document feeder. It is a tray like device which can hold unto about 50 sheets of papers. More importantly it feeds the sheets into the all-in-one printer without you having to stand around all day.

Before getting a printer scanner copier fax into your home/small office, make sure that the store or manufacturer provides adequate after sales services. Make a thorough examination of the machine at the store itself. In fact don’t shy away from actually using it for a bit right there.

Keeping costs in check while running a business is quite a daunting task. The endless flow of documents into a small/home office makes the task even harder. In this regard the Printer Scanner Copier Fax is truly a godsend for small business owners. Take advantage of this innovative multifunction device to improve your business operations. Embrace technology to take your business to the next level.

Printer Scanner Copier Fax – All You Need For Your Small Business

Business practices have seen a sea change over the last couple of years. The saying “time is money” is of greatest significance in today’s competitive times. An inability to keep up with the growing demands of the ever expanding market, would spell inevitable disaster for your small business.

Affordable business solutions were non existent, even till as recently as a couple of years back. Small businesses were the worst hit. For them, getting paper work done on time meant frantically looking for a place close to the office, which printed, scanned, copied and faxed documents efficiently and at an affordable price. Thankfully, their misery has been put to an end with the introduction of the affordable and efficient all in one printer scanner copier fax.

A leading magazine conducted a survey which threw up a few very important facts about the printer scanner copier fax. The survey put forth important statically data about the savings of both time and cash offered by the all-in-one printer. It also stated that the minimum required fax modem speed as being 33 kbps.

The ideal resolution for the printer and scanner as being 1200 x 600dpi! A 16 MB expandable memory was found to be ideal for most small offices. An important observation in the survey was that there existed different segments of users for the multifunction device. In keeping with this fact, the manufacturers have created different types of this multifunction device to cater to the varied needs of the different segments of users.

This multifunction device undoubtedly adds tons of efficiency to a business. But it does so only if diligence is exercised while purchasing an all-in-one printer. Randomly walking into a store and purchasing the first multifunction device you lay your eyes on, would land you in a soup. The capacity of the multifunction should be sufficient enough to cater to your office needs.

If you run a small business and are keen on getting a more efficient office, then look no further than the all-in-one printer. The performance of this multifunction device may not match up to the performance of separate machines which individually print, scan, copy and fax. Nevertheless, acquiring the printer scanner copier fax would be the first successful step towards office automation.

Get a more efficient office by investing in technology. For a business owner, keeping up with the times also means keeping up with the ever evolving world of technology. Multifunction devices like the all-in-one printer would save you quite a large bundle of cash.

Also, investing in a printer scanner copier fax would give you precious time each day, to focus on the real issues challenging your business. Adding a multifunction device to your small/home office, would make the hours wasted in struggling with tons of documents, a thing of the past.
